Madeleine Alicea - Graphic Artist and Designer

My artistic vocation began when I was 4 years old, when my father, Mr. Alvis Alicea, from whom I derived the vocation, because he was a Graphic Artist as well, taught me and led me towards art.
Once I finished high school, in 1990, and after having studied at other universities, I began my formal studies of art at the School of Plastic Arts of Puerto Rico in 1994. There I began to study traditional Graphic Art, but for an accident that I had in my right hand, I had to change studies. That's when I began to study Computer Graphic Art.
This opened the doors for me to start working as a Graphic Designer in different advertising agencies.

• Graphic Artist and Digital Designer with more than 29 years of experience.
• Has university studies at the School of Plastic Arts of Puerto Rico.
• Worked in different Advertising Agencies as a Graphic Artist and Art Director in Puerto Rico, developing advertising campaigns for brands such as Holsum de PR, Nestle Purina, Carrier, among others.
• After working for different private companies, I started to work with the Government of Puerto Rico, including the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority, the Department of the Treasury and the Autonomous Municipality of Cidra.
• I have vast experience in using art and design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, After Effects, Resolume Arena, MadMapper, among others.
• I have also extensive experience in the area of AI, photography, content creation for social networks, creation and maintenance of web pages, video editing, video animations and video mapping.
• Based in Orlando, FL, I worked as an Art Director for one of the largest merchandise companies for different entertainment parks in the United States, including Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, Six Flags, among others. During that time I also worked on different creative concepts for Warner Brothers.
• I currently works as a Creative Manager for one of the largest companies in the world that manufactures and sells cleaning products.
